​The Vietnam-Cambodia Friendship Radio is a symbol of the solidarity and cohesion between the two peoples of Vietnam and Cambodia, and a historical proof of the recognition of the enormous sacrifices of Vietnamese volunteers, specialized in The Vietnamese nation in particular and the Vietnamese people in general have promptly helped the Cambodian people escape the genocide of the Khmer Rouge, and built Cambodia as prosperous as it is today.

​On the occasion of the 75th founding anniversary of Vietnam People’s Armed Forces (22/12/1944 - 22/12/2019) and the 30th Anniversary of Vietnamese National Armed Forces Day (22/12/1989 - 22/12/2019), under consent of Provincial Party Committee and Provincial People's Committee, Vietnam-Cambodia Friendship Association of Ben Tre province visited Cambodia, whose had a close relationship with Vietnamese military and experts, including people of Ben Tre, and many people had forever gone away. This trip was meaningful and full of memories of the past.

​On September 26, 2018, the Provincial Ben Tre People’s Committee, in collaboration with the Vietnam-Cuba Friendship Association, organised a ceremony to mark the 55th anniversary of the Cuban Committee for Solidarity with South Vietnam (September 25th, 1963 - September 25th, 2018).
